The tools

Fifteen tools in one Windows app. For each one: what it does, what you can set, which files you get and whether it uses AI.

Tools marked AI use AI credits. Those marked AI optional work without them and use credits only for their AI options. The rest never use credits.

Things to make

BoxMaker AI optional

Boxes with finger joints, sized from your dimensions and the thickness of your material, with a 3D preview of the assembled box.

  • Four box types: a simple box with an optional lid and dividers, a hinged box, a sliding drawer box and a stackable crate with handles.
  • Inside or outside dimensions, material thickness, kerf, finger width and joint clearance, in millimetres or inches.
  • The parts are packed onto your sheet size, with the cut length and an estimated cut time.
  • Text or an SVG engraved, scored or cut on any face, and a 3D preview of the assembled box.

Name Puzzle Maker

A name cut as a puzzle: a base board and letters that lift out of it. Two layers, exported as SVG.

  • A face plate with the letters cut out, over a matching backing plate. Names of 2 to 12 letters.
  • Ten bold fonts chosen because they cut well.
  • Board size, letter height and spacing, border, corner radius and finger notches.
  • Three views: the finished product, the cut layout and the assembly in 3D.

Jigsaw Puzzle Maker

Any picture turned into a jigsaw puzzle, with the cut lines for every piece.

  • Six outlines: rectangle, heart, circle, oval, hexagon and star.
  • Rows and columns, three knob styles, and a tight, normal or loose fit with kerf compensation.
  • A backing board with hanging or magnet holes, numbered pieces and an optional cut-out with text in the centre.
  • Photo mode: the picture is prepared for engraving on the pieces, with dithering, and you get a ready-to-sell kit with a mockup.

Name signs, house numbers and shop signs: your text in the font you choose, a shape around it, and AI graphics if you want them.

  • 15 templates for the home, weddings, the office, the workshop, the garden and pets.
  • Text engraved, cut as an outline, or both. Layered name hangers, initial wall decor and couple monograms.
  • Ornaments, mounting holes and tools to align and combine shapes.
  • A batch of signs from a list of names, a production time and cost estimate, and a 3D preview.

Keychains with a name, an icon or both, in several styles.

  • Simple keychains, or two-layer keychains with an emoji and a name.

  • Hundreds of built-in icons, or your own SVG.
  • Material profiles for plywood, MDF, acrylic and leather, and a batch from a list of names, fitted on one sheet.

Laser Cut Portrait AI

A photo turned into black-and-white wall art with a frame. The islands stay connected, so it cuts as one piece.

  • You upload a photo. AI draws a black-and-white portrait, which is then traced to vectors.
  • Line boldness, simplification, how closely the face is kept, and the black threshold.
  • Small islands are removed or joined with bridges, so the piece holds together. Frame optional.
  • You choose the finished size.

Photo to Stained Glass AI

A photo turned into a stained glass pattern: coloured pieces separated by lead lines, cut from acrylic or wood.

  • Three steps: AI turns the photo into stained glass, then into lead lines, then it is traced to vectors.
  • Lead thickness, smallest piece size, number of colours and output size.
  • Style, vibrance and simplification.
  • Cut lines alone, or cut lines with a layer for each colour.

EngravePrep

Gets a photo ready for engraving, with contrast and dithering settings.

  • Crop and resize at 254, 318 or 400 DPI, with brightness, contrast and sharpening.
  • Nine dithering methods, including Floyd–Steinberg, Jarvis, Stucki and halftone.
  • Presets for plywood, hardwood, MDF, acrylic, anodised aluminium and slate.
  • Background removal, cartoon effect, upscaling and vectorising, batch processing, and a test card to calibrate your laser.

Describe a shape in words and get an outline to cut or engrave, which you can then edit on the canvas.

  • Describe the shape in a few words and get four variants to choose from.

  • Edit on the canvas, with cut and engrave layers, size, rotation and mirroring.

Nesting Tool

Places parts on your sheets so less material goes to waste.

  • Quick nesting by bounding boxes, or shape-aware nesting that follows the outlines.
  • Sheet size, margin, gap between parts, allowed rotations and mirroring, and areas to keep clear.
  • Copies in a grid, in a circle or along a path.
  • Your own parts imported as SVG.

Panel Splitter

Splits a design that is bigger than your laser bed into tiles that fit.

  • Bed presets for common lasers, or your own size.
  • Overlap, margin and offset between the tiles.

  • An assembly map that shows where each tile goes. Works on SVG files.
