About these terms

These terms apply to the EtchFire app, your EtchFire account and the online services used by the app. EtchFire is operated by [operator] (“we”). By creating an account you accept these terms.

Your account

You need an account to use EtchFire. Give a correct email address, keep your password to yourself and do not share your account. You must be at least 16, and of legal age to buy.

Free trial

A new account includes a free trial of 14 days with a number of AI credits. Each person can use one trial. We may refuse or end trials obtained through several accounts.

License

When you buy a license you get a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use EtchFire on the number of devices shown at purchase. You may not resell or sublicense the software, share your account, or try to get around the license checks. Copying, decompiling or modifying the software is not allowed, except where the law gives you that right.

AI credits

AI features use credits. The cost of each action is published with the prices. Credits are reserved when an AI request starts and returned if the request fails. Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged. Any expiry is shown when you buy them.

Your content

Your designs, photos and files remain yours. When you use an AI feature, you allow us and the providers listed in the privacy policy to process what you send, only to produce the result.

Only upload material you have the right to use. Do not use EtchFire for illegal content or to infringe the rights of others, including trademarks and copyrighted designs.

Laser safety and results

EtchFire helps you design. You are responsible for checking every file before cutting, for the material you use, for your machine settings and for safe operation of your laser. Results depend on your machine, your material and how it is handled.

Online services

Sign-in, AI features and map data depend on online services, including outside providers. They may sometimes be unavailable, and features may change as we improve EtchFire.

Payments

Prices, payment terms and, if you are a consumer in the European Union, your right of withdrawal will be shown before you buy. Card payments are handled by Stripe.

Liability

EtchFire is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, lost profit, damaged material or machine damage resulting from the use of the files. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time from My account in the app. We may suspend or close an account that seriously breaks these terms.

Changes and law

If these terms change, we update the date at the top and tell account holders about important changes by email. These terms are governed by the law of Romania, without affecting the protection given to you by the law of the country where you live.
